A few months ago i was accepted into an online network that is exclusively for Professional Pet Photographers. It is amazing! Pet Photographers from all over the world share their years of experience & are so willing to help each other out, it's a really, really encouraging & happy thing to be a part of. I've spent hours at a time looking through discussions and finding amazing websites to look through - i can't imagine where i'd be without it now! A few of us have started doing a blog ring - 52 topics in 52 weeks, each of us linking to the next one so you get to see everyones own take on the topic :) We're going to be doing it 4pm (Western Australian time) every Friday. I guarantee you'll get to see a bunch of fabulous photographers & LOADSSSS of cute animals too :)
This weeks theme was luck . . a tricky one for me to start on as i'm not much of a believer in luck . . i'm more a fate & karma kinda girl, you know - everything happens for a reason. I was still struggling to decide what i could do on Wednesday, when a woman approached me asking if i'd like to support the Oceania Leadership Team, who raise money for youth activities & education in the Pacific Islands. She had a basket full of goodies, chocolate, beaded bracelets and some bookmarks. Anyone who knows me will be SHOCKED to know i did not pick the chocolate bar!! I know, i know. For some reason a $10 bookmark seemed more appropriate? I looked through the pile, put the tiger one aside, but had to look at them all . . .& what do you know - a 4 leaf clover was at the very bottom of the pile. Luck??? mmmm. . maybeeeee
My Alfster was the model of choice for this week .. . if i believe in any kind of 'luck' it would have to be how very lucky we are to wake up to this face every day :) x
