Greyhound Adoptables!

I was very honoured to be able to donate some time to Greyhounds As Pets this week & take some pictures of some ex racing dogs who are now looking for a place to call home.  A huge thanks to Tara for taking the time to arrange it.  Greyhounds are a unique breed, not seen too often and so people are sometimes unsure about having them as pets.  A common misconception (myself included) that they need LOADS of exercise or are not friendly or family dogs is simply not true!  The 8 I got to meet on Friday were all very sweet & cuddly & with a very brief walk would be more than happy to snuggle with you on the couch for the rest of the day!  You talk to anyone who has a hound & they'll tell you how much of an impact these incredibly graceful dogs have had on their lives.  I only got a few minutes with each pooch but i'm so glad I got to meet them all.
